DCC Group appoint Stuart Graham as Chairman of the Board

Following a successful year, the recent acquisition of bespoke corporate clothing specialists Incorporatewear (ICW) and the global pandemic period, Direct Corporate Clothing Group have taken the opportunity to revisit the group structure and capacity looking to the future for our customers, employees and the wider business.

We are therefore delighted to announce today the appointment of Stuart Graham as Chairman of the Board. Stuart brings a vast range of business skills and expertise to our companies and will lead the further development and expansion that is set for the DCC Group with the operating entities DCC and ICW.

As Chairman, Stuart will work with all stakeholders and support the leadership and management teams to reach their potential, thereby adding and creating value throughout the organisation. Inevitably taking the group to the next step to becoming the leading supplier of uniforms, workwear and PPE. The Group (DCC & ICW) is also consciously looking at adjacent business opportunities and geographies for their brands.

Stuart joins following an extensive and highly successful career in the B2B arena around the world. He has held several senior positions, most recently at Mi Hub which totalled 10 executive years preceded by 8 Non-Executive years (Dimensions, Alexandra, Yaffy), at Chairman, Executive Chairman, Chief Executive and NED levels, globally. Stuart has an outstanding track record of good governance, sustainable strategy and profitable growth achieved both organically and through acquisition.

Prior to the Mi Hub experience, where he also led the MBO in 2019, Stuart was Chief Executive of Johnson Service Group plc and prior to that, he was Chief Operating Officer at ISS A/S, the multinational facilities company, which, at the time, had a multi-billion pound revenue and circa 400,000 employees in 50 countries. He has also served as a senior advisor to two major Private Equity houses and held NED roles in various sectors.

Stuart Graham Chairman of the Board said today – “My departure last year from Mi Hub provided me with the opportunity to take stock of both my private and business life after an intense career which was welcomed. Meeting with the Stakeholders post their most recent acquisition ICW) convinced me that they were serious, ambitious and looking to the future from a number of perspectives.”

“It is rare to find such a convincing attraction. Having spent virtually an entire career in senior executive positions within B2B and support services and with no current wish to stop. This is a natural extension from that career path which in turn when adding my skills set will lead to the betterment of the DCC group, who are already demonstrating their appetite for growth and change.”

“This combination is I believe unique and working alongside the teams at DCC and ICW will provide us all with an enhanced future as we emerge from the situation that has prevailed over the last 18 months. This applies to our customers, employees and the industry at large. For sure we have exciting times ahead.”
